Enhance the AI responses with plugins

Plugins allow you to integrate unique functionalities into your chat models. They can enhance the interaction and enable the AI assistant to perform tasks beyond just generating text.
Admins are able to manage the use of plugins for your members on the ChatGPT interface.
You can enable or disable specific plugins, manage plugin access, or even create custom plugins tailored to your team’s needs.
Pre-configuring Plugin Settings
Pre-configuring your plugin settings allows you to set up the plugin settings in advanced.
Here's how you can do it:
Navigate to your chat instance's Admin Panel and select the Plugins section.
Locate the plugin you want to configure and click on the Settings tab
Enter the needed settings
For example, set up the Web Search and Image Search ID and API key.

Members don’t need to set up manually from the chat interface:

Enabling/Disabling Specific Plugins
Depending on your team needs, you may wish to enable or disable specific plugins:
Navigate to the Plugins section in your Admin Panel.
Click to the plugin you want to Enable or Disable on the chat interface
Switch the Toggle button to enable or disable it.
So if you disable the Web Search plugin…

Your user won’t be able to use it from the chat UI:

Custom Plugins
There are two ways you can add custom plugins:
Create on your own
Go to Plugins
Scroll down to the Client Plugins section and click Create New Plugin
Enter some needed setups such as Function Spec, Code Implementation, User Settings (if any)

Import plugin via URL
Go to Plugins
Scroll down to the Client Plugins section and click Import Plugin
Enter the Plugin URL to directly import all plugin setup.
Here’s how your custom plugins appear on the chat interface:

*Please note that admins aren’t able to pre-configure the user settings with Custom Plugins. Users will need to set up by themselves, for example, the API Keys.
The upcoming “Server Plugins” will allow admins to do that.
Manage Access for Each Plugin (coming soon)
This feature enables you to make the plugin visible to a specific group of users by adding tags for each plugin. Just so you know, these type of access control have already been available with Prompts Library and AI Characters.
